The Special Stuff
A local band for local people

Stafford/West Mids band ‘The Special Stuff’ was originally formed to provide the local scene with an occasional opportunity to see these three top musicians from past headlining local bands ‘Dreadin’ the Weddin’’, ‘Raised on Radio’ and ‘Dewberry Firkin’ once again rock the house.



However, due to success by word of mouth over the last 12 months, ‘The Special Stuff’, have found themselves under major demand from many midland venues and are back on top. To help broaden their already vast rock and pop set, they have recently gained a fourth member famous Stafford rock legend (cause he's old) Nick Overmire bringing additional lead vocals, backing vocals, keyboards and guitar.



2005 saw some great performances; including a last minute stand in at the Surgery in Stafford and 2006 sees the strongest line up yet. The Special Stuff have something for everyone, with material from Robbie to Metallica and numerous own versions of classics, resulting in a finale of Toccata and Fugue in D Minor (don’t miss it) for which many return time and time again.
